My New Long Arm

Meet "The Goddess"....my Hinterberg/Voyager system. This was a gift from my husband-the ULTIMATE gift,huh? It takes up half the room. After a rocky start-due to a faulty presser foot we found out-I am finally bonding with my machine. I am a newbie with this,and am so far lovin' it!

Doll Quilt on my Longarm

I have a brand new Longarm quilting machine...and am thrilled to find out I can quilt my doll quilts on it! This is my first one.....what do you think? Not bad for a newbie!

Cooper the Puppy the size of a Moose!

Here is my Berger Picard puppy....who is just 6 months old and roughly the size of a small country. We are in intermediate obedience training class....which I feel we will probably repeat because Cooper has issues heeling. :)

New name

I changed the name of my blog for 2 reasons....firstly because there are several other blogs with the same or similar names,and secondly because I am off on a doll quilt adventure!

I am participating in the Flicker group's third round of Doll Quilt Swapping. I am already hopelessy addicted! So I am off on a wee journey for awhile. Thought I'd post a few pictures of some wee quilts I have already made.

Another Scrappy Trip Around the World! I just love this pattern and how it allows you to play with ALL your fabrics! I am finally at the point where I can do this one without concentrating!

I am now on Spring Break! So...after some much needed spring cleaning,I intend to sew sew sew! I plan to make a doll quilt for the Flicker Doll QUilt Swap,and start Bonnie Hunter's Orange Crush Mystery QUilt. I have never done a mystery quilt before! Now to decide what colors to do it in.....

Quick Lap Quilt

This is a quick little lap quilt up on my flannel wall. I am trying to make lap quilts for Christmas for 5 of my cousins.....lap quilts seem to work for me. I can have several different ones going at once then switch back and forth. I am waiting for a new part for my new-yet untried-Voyager longarm system. Hoping it gets here before Easter and my spring break!
