Civil War Table Runner

Hot off the press and ready for quilting...this is a table runner. I worked entirely out of my scrap bin for this one-except for the borders. The 4 patches are made from 1 1/4" squares. I plan to hand quilt this and keep it for MYSELF! LOL

At your best kiddo! Scrappy, small, and relaxing to do. Are you sure you don't own me one?

well now i have really cracked...i love it so much and i have sooo many civil war fabrics,i am planning to tackle a bedsize one. a few minor changes...like bumpin the square sizes to 1.5" making the 4 patches 3". I will construct it in smaller units then sew those together. I am contemplating keeping the alternating squares all one fabric, and the light part of the 4 patches all one fabric as well to provide basically the same look as the runner. what do you guys think? anyone wanna join me on this crazy journey?
